Inherited private collections of papers can be an asset and a joy… but for many families and estates they are the lurking contents of storerooms and cupboards awaiting that mythical day when you or your children will finally get the time to sort through it all and find out exactly what is there. One of the most pleasurable jobs I undertake is to help families discover and make better use of their own collections by creating a catalogued and orderly archive. Working with discretion and sensitivity to privacy and budget, my services range from producing a simple listing of contents through to a full re-organization, including packaging in appropriate storage materials and accompanied by a detailed but easy to use digital and/or printed catalogue.
